Ms. Renee Brotman has a diverse background focused on design and implementation of staff development programs that support organizational change initiatives. She has a strong track record of achievement in creating successful public programs, conducting/facilitating various workshops and assessment feedback sessions, creating and implementing leadership training and readiness programs, and managing organization development change initiatives.  As President/CEO of Kaleidoscope Associates, Ms. Brotman has built a successful coaching business that works with all levels within an organization, top executives to future leaders.

Coaching Approach

Ms. Brotman as a coach works with clients to help them make the changes that lead to a difference in their professional life.  Together, she explores with her clients how their current behaviors and actions are affecting the performance/productivity they want to achieve.  Through more self-awareness and understanding of how others see you, a client can identify new behaviors and actions that build more lasting and trusting relationships that create opportunity for sustainable business success. 

Coaching is done through various activities that include: structured conversations, self- assessments, and experiential practices.

Ms. Brotman works with clients to:

  • Develop new leadership tools to respond to subordinate and superior requests
  • Probe self-limiting behaviors and establish new patterns of performance
  • Identify barriers that limit achievement of professional goals

Organization Development/Facilitation

n  Developed, conducted, and analyzed training needs assessments resulting in organizational education priorities.

n  Directed and implemented blended learning strategies (web casts, e-learning and experiential instructor led classroom) into technical training classes designed for primary target audience of engineers/scientists and medical officers.

n  Created organizational competency model and curricula redesign for 1200 employees in regulatory agency.

n  Created unique employee orientation programs for senior executives and general workforce. 

n  Created a workforce training strategy for implementation of matrix organization structure.

Leadership Development

n  Created and implemented a leadership readiness program targeted to senior analysts interested in becoming future organizational leaders.  Served as principle student advisor and primary negotiator for external contract faculty.

n  Identified key learning objectives for executives and delivered, via partnerships with renowned subject matter experts, senior level seminars.

n  Designed and implemented first line manager training for 10,000 managers. Served as part of instructor cadre.

n  Created a streamlined first line manager training program for an organizational entity within the District of Columbia government.

Project Management

n  Served as Project Officer for the establishment of reduction in force (downsizing) infrastructure for organization of over 100,000 employees.  Led a team of human resource professionals that served as principle advisors to senior officials.

n  Managed a seven figure training and development budget.  Developed fiscal year funding projections and influenced senior staff on use of funds for key education priorities.
